1  Tunnelbroker.net Specific Topics / Questions & Answers / Re: Can ping, but can't connect on: May 04, 2012, 04:14:46 am
I had same issue. I tried a lot of things - even tried setting up a new connection - but it didn't work. I called his provider and found that some of his settings were incorrect, so we reset them. I can ping out and recieve so that's not an issue. I just keep getting 'Page Cannot Be Displayed'.

I have a wireless connect throughout the house, and have connected the xbox to the router and ran the test, icmp error, so to figure out if it was the router (linksys wrt54g v.2) or cable modem i connected to the modem directly and received the same error, so im positive its the modem giving me the problems. Should i get a new modem, or connect my internet provider?

If i understand this problem correctly when the traffic is traversing through the tunnel then we are seing the issue. Can you please check are we seeing any errors on hub or spoke side like replay errors or not and is there any qos applied on the spoke or hub side .

It could be bad weather there that is causing it. It also could be your local connection. sometimes your connection can be good enough to connect to most pages, but you still can't get flash or other multimedia items to work.
