Netcomm V210P and DDNS

Hi all
I recently purchased a Netcomm V210P VoIP ATA to run my home phone over the internet (recently moved phone and Internet to the same provider, and got $10 pm for unlimited local and national calls over VoIP) which has support for Dynamic DNS. I followed the instructions on the main page and it doesn't seem to be updating - I've tried dyndns, statdns, and customer types, none are making a difference.
I can run the update manually, but I'd rather not do that lest I do too many updates and get locked out. Any suggestions? Any admins see any failed attempts on my account?
Thanks
