Someone at UNC.EDU has a good sense of humor.

ipv6 address of 2610:28:3090:3001:dead:beef:cafe:fed7
Found it watching ipv6 traffic with wireshark.

Running a web site for "Fedora Project Spins Tracker"

Can't find a hostname or any other info to let em know their easter egg  has been found.

Just had to pass on the ip.

Yeah that sort of thing seems to be a trend.  Facebook and Freenode do that as well.

I do similar things with my "spam" hostnames - in the documentation network range.
