I think there's a reset subcommand for most of the netsh sections.

Hello,
I am also running into the same problem and I would appreciate your help getting my IPv6 tunnel working in Windows 7. I have tried to copy/paste the commands listed when I created the tunnel and I cannot establish a link to IPv6 sites.
Could someone please provide me with steps to configure my IPv6 tunnel?
Thanks, D

What commands are you using? Are you running them as an administrator? Are you getting any errors?
Can you post the output of "ipconfig /all" and "netstat -nr" ?

Do you also have access through Hexago? I'd remove that and try again, your routing table has multiple prefix's in it, and while it shouldn't matter, we should make things as simple as possible for the time being.

And when you run the netsh commands, you use 192.168.1.2 as your local IPv4 address instead of what the example will provide using your IPv4 endpoint?

Hello,
Here is the command I am running...
netsh interface ipv6 add v6v4tunnel IP6Tunnel xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 216.66.38.58 netsh interface ipv6 add address IP6Tunnel 2001:470:1c:1be::2 netsh interface ipv6 add route ::/0 IP6Tunnel 2001:470:1c:1be::1 metric=5 netsh interface ipv6 set route 2001:470:1c:1be::2/64 IP6Tunnel metric=4
Where XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is the WAN IP
Thanks, D

And is that WAN IP configured on your machine?
Going to say no here since you provided ipconfig data which shows that 192.168.1.2 is.
Run the netsh command with that instead of the WAN IP.

Thank you for your assistance. After setting the "WAN IP" to 192.168.1.2 all functionality was restored. Please note I had to delete my existing IPv6Tunnel using the netsh delete before adding the proper netsh command with 192.168.1.2
Is there a way to automatically update the WAN IP on the website everytime my IP changes?

OK, I think I really hosed things up.
Trying to reset all my IPv6 setting to defaults, but I'm not having much luck with the netsh reset command. Now when I try to go back through the setup steps, I get this error:
C:\Windows\system32>netsh interface ipv6 add v6v4tunnel IP6Tunnel xx.xx.xx.xx yy.yy.yy.yy
You were not connected because a duplicate name exists on the network. If joinin g a domain, go to System in Control Panel to change the computer name and try ag ain. If joining a workgroup, choose another workgroup name.
How can I get everything back to the way it was so I can try again?
